Making stuff!

I am making stuff!  I am currently not making any quilts.  I have several in the works, but I am feeling creative in a different way just now.  Whimsy is so important!  Naturally, I do put whimsey in many of my quilts, art quilts and otherwise.  

Last week I made a sassy sardine named Sadie.  She is 36" long and stuffed with polyester fiberfill.  (it is a pillow)

This week I made a freaky doll named Inez.  I am giving Inez to my daughter, as a Halloween gift.

Inez is the third doll I have made this year.  I changed the shape of her head and did lots of hand-stitching on her before sewing her together.  I love making these easy pinafore dresses for these rag dolls.  I must make another!
